Convert HEIC to JPG Online
What changes when you convert HEIC to JPG
It opens everywhere
HEIC is an Apple format many Windows apps, browsers and websites cannot read. JPG opens on every device and platform.
The file gets a little larger
HEIC is more efficient than JPG, so the JPG copy is usually somewhat bigger for the same photo.
Quality stays visually the same
Both are lossy photo formats; a high-quality JPG conversion looks identical to the HEIC original.

About the two formats
HEIC
HEIC is the format iPhones shoot in by default. Built on the HEVC video codec, it stores photos at roughly half the size of an equivalent JPG - but support outside the Apple ecosystem is still patchy.
JPG
JPG (JPEG) has been the standard photo format since 1992. It compresses photographs to a fraction of their raw size by discarding detail the eye barely notices, which is why virtually every camera, phone and website uses it.
