Welcome to HotIMG. By using hotimg.com (the "Service") you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
HotIMG provides free image hosting: uploading, storage, sharing links, albums, profiles, a community gallery, image tools and an upload API. Anonymous uploads are stored for a limited time (up to 30 days). Registered accounts include 25 GB of storage and the option to store images without expiry. We may change, suspend or discontinue features at any time.
2. Your account
You are responsible for your account and everything uploaded with it or with your API key. Keep your password and API key secret. You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to create an account.
3. Prohibited content
You confirm at every upload that your image complies with these rules. The following is prohibited:
- Adult content: nudity, pornography and sexually explicit material of any kind.
- Advertising content: images that exist to advertise, including promo graphics, watermark spam, QR-code promos, and contact-handle overlays.
- Content that is illegal, or that depicts or promotes violence, gore, or the exploitation of minors in any form (zero tolerance; reported to authorities).
- Content that infringes copyright, trademark or privacy rights of others.
- Malware, phishing content, or images used to deceive or defraud.
- Harassment, hate content, or images of private individuals shared without consent.
Enforcement: we remove violating content and ban accounts that upload it, without prior notice. Automatic scanning plus human moderation review gallery submissions and reports. Bans may extend to IP addresses and future accounts.
4. Your content and rights
You keep all rights to images you upload. You grant HotIMG the technical, non-exclusive license to store, resize, convert (for example to WebP), cache and serve your images so the Service can function. This license ends when the image is deleted. You must own or have permission for everything you upload, including recognizable faces used in the face swap tool.
5. Storage, expiry and deletion
Expiry timers you set are executed automatically and permanently. Deleted and expired images cannot be recovered. We may remove content that violates these terms, apply storage quotas, and delete images from banned accounts. Free storage is 25 GB per account; fair use applies (no mass mirroring, backup dumping or CDN abuse).
6. Acceptable use
No scraping at abusive rates, no attempts to bypass rate limits or moderation, no reselling of the Service, and no use of the API beyond documented limits. Hotlinking is allowed within fair bandwidth use.
7. Disclaimer and liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, HotIMG is not liable for lost content, lost profits, or indirect damages. Keep local copies of images that matter to you. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months.
8. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes are announced on the site. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
